If your meetings lack focus, structure or energy, it could cost you in terms of missed opportunities and decreased productivity. There are a few simple steps you can do to ensure that your directors are fully engaged and participate in a successful board meeting.
Make sure you review your meetings at least Once a Year
Gathering feedback is among the best methods to improve the quality of meetings. After a few of your meetings, ask your board members to take two sticky notes and mark “+” on the areas that were positive and “-” on areas that could be improved. Request them to put the notes onto the back of a poster that they can hang in front of the entrance so that everyone can see what needs to change.
Manage Your Time
